Tempointeractive.com, 18/09 - Hotels and restaurants in Jakarta will abolish smoking areas. “ A Governor’s Regulation on this has been issued. What else can we do other than comply,” asked Carla Parengkuan, the Indonesian Hotels and Restaurants Association (PHRI) Executive Director. Governor Fauzi Bowo issued Governor Regulation no.88/2010 on May 6. The regulation was announced by the governor on October 13 by closing down a smoking area in City Hall. The regulation was also disseminated to all building management companies in Jakarta as a response to people’s complaint about smoke inside buildings
