Death toll in Mentawai tsunami up to 112, 502 missing

Antara, 26/10 - The death toll in a 7.2 magnitude earthquake and subsequent tsunami that struck Mentawai islands in West Sumatra province rose to 112 on Tuesday night. At least 502 people were missing and thousands of others evacuated to safer grounds following the disasters, according to West Sumatra Governor Irwan Prayitno.
